Integrative Wellbeing Services Summer 2023 Updates

Integrative Wellbeing Services will be closed for individual and group clinical services beginning Friday, May 19th. Mental health support continues to be available via our on-call therapist and partnership with TalkSpace throughout the summer. 

IWS clinical services for individual and group therapy will resume on the first day of classes, September 7, 2023. Students may begin scheduling appointments beginning August 31, 2023 by using the self-schedule option in the Eph’s Patient Portal. In case of a mental health emergency, we encourage you to use emergency services in your area by dialing 988 or if at imminent risk, dial 911. You can also contact IWS on-call emergency services, day or night, by calling IWS at (413) 597-2353 and select option 2.  If on campus, you can call Campus Safety at 413-597-4444.

  • TALKSPACE LIVE TELETHERAPY: All enrolled students continue to have access to Talkspace, which provides 4, 30-minute live video-sessions/month, unlimited asynchronous texting, voice or video message, at no cost to student. To register, visit www.talkspace.com/williamscollege, enter your Williams email address and follow the prompts.
  • TALKSPACE PSYCHIATRY offers psychiatric medication management and treatment services.  All enrolled students located in the United States can schedule live telehealth appointments with a psychiatric provider for medication consults, ongoing medication management and psychiatric treatment. Students can access Talkspace psychiatry by clicking Register and using their Williams email address and key word: TSPlus.
  • Choose Well Resource Hub Integrative Wellbeing Services has created a resource hub to assist students in tending to their wellbeing.

FINDING A THERAPIST: There are a number of local providers who often work with Williams students during the summer months, as well as providers in larger cities. Please note that IWS does not specifically recommend or endorse any particular community provider.
